What we do
Project examples
evaluate …
“Evaluation means appropriate and professional examination and assessment. As a consequence, for us this means thinking and acting project-specific and not according to the book.”
Evaluation is more than a simple rating and needs to be incorporated into the context of the respondents’ own life. That usually doesn’t happen at the push of a button at 8pm in a focus group. The homework assignments and project specific diaries our respondents complete have proven to be a rich source of true-to-life engagement with the research objective prior to their interview session at the facility.
Using the Temporary Online-Community (S.M.A.R.T.) developed by MR&S provides you with the opportunity to test your product or your idea over a longer period of time and let the future user help you to make improvements.
The Business Objective

A well known telecommunication provider has developed a unique product for cloud based networked technology. A prototype was about to be installed at selected customer company sites and to be tested over a period of several weeks.
Reliable & Dedicated

Dirk Butterweck: “The product benefit itself – combining different technologies through the cloud – called for a temporary online-community for this pilot. On this project specific platform we collected the feedback of all user groups, i.e. team leader or manager, IT admins and regular users through online diaries, discussion groups and structured questionnaires for several different topics. That way we received a broad and comprehensive evaluation of the installation process, usability and the impact of the product benefit in terms of the daily business tasks.“
Petra Kemmerzell: “I then visited a selected number of test pilots in person to review the product performance at the customer’s office and talk to management and users. This was very helpful for identifying weak points in the product promise that could have been improved prior to an ultimately successful market launch!“
Inspiring

While maintaining their anonymity, we were still able to take photos from the product installation during the onsite visits. These photos were very illustrative for product development at the provider’s site and provided inspiration that was used to tailor the whole bundle for launch.
